California Sales Tax Increases to 8.75% on April 1, 2009

Effective April 1, 2009, the State of California sales and use tax rate will increase by 1%.
The sales and use tax rate that Toastmasters International applies to orders shipped within California will be 8.75% (previously 7.75%) beginning April 1, 2009.
This will apply to all new member kits, charter kits and product orders that are shipped to California addresses.
